The full range of today’s corrosion-resistant materials can be used for construction of a shower chair. Shower chairs come in price ranges from about $50 to several hundred, depending on how fancy you want to go. There are even wheelchairs available which can function both in and out of the shower, making the purchase of two wheelchairs unnecessary.
Shower chairs can provide much-prized independence for people, allowing them to remain in their own homes longer than would otherwise be possible. A shower chair can eliminate or delay the need for in-home care and save thousands of dollars in the process.
It seems like such a little thing, but a small, lightweight shower chair can make a huge difference to someone’s independence and way of life.
